Anti-Bat Ig Light Chain [BT1-4F10] Hybridoma
This hybridoma line constitutively produces a mouse anti-bat Ig Light chain monoclonal antibody.
Highlights:
- Binds to B cells and serum immunoglobulin by virtue of specificity for Ig Light Chain
- Reactivity demonstrated for E. fuscus and additional microchiroptera
- No reactivity against Ig from megachiroptera has been demonstrated to date
The hybridoma was generated by fusion of splenocytes from a BALB/c mouse that had been immunized with big brown bat (Eptisicus fuscus) splenocytes. The resulting hybridomas were plated in methylcellulose and subsequently subcloned in liquid culture.
