Goat Anti-FOXL2 / BPES Antibody

This goat IgG polyclonal antibody was generated against peptide sequence C-DSKTGALHSRLDL from the C Terminus of forkhead box L2 (FOXL2/BPES) and recognizes human FOXL2/BPES.

Highlights:

  • Reacts with human FOXL2/BPES
  • Suitable for Peptide ELISA and Western Blot applications
  • Mutations are associated with blepharophimosis-ptosis-epicanthus inversus syndrome (BPES) types I and II and premature ovarian failure

Forkhead box L2 (FOXL2/BPES) is a forkhead transcription factor that contains a fork-head DNA-binding domain. FOXL2 is preferentially expressed in the ovaries, the eyelids, and the pituitary gland. Studies indicate FOXL2 plays a role in all stages of ovarian development and function as well as granulosa cell-related diseases. Mutations in the FOXL2 gene cause blepharophimosis-ptosis-epicanthus inversus syndrome (BPES) types I and II and premature ovarian failure.
