TAMRA-Antabactin ABA Receptor Antagonist (TAMRA-ANT)

Fluorescent TAMRA-Antabactin (ANT- for antagonist of ABA activation) is a small molecule pan antagonist of ABA (abscisic acid) receptors with a picomolar dissociation constant.

Highlights:

  • Possesses substantially improved in vitro and in vivo bioactivity relative to PanMe and AA1 in both wheat and Arabidopsis
  • Accelerates seed germination and promotes transpiration in Arabidopsis, barley and tomato by inhibiting ABA signaling in planta
  • Suitable for high throughput fluorescence polarization based competitive assays for discovery of ABA receptor agonists and antagonists
