In vitro, quantitative sandwich ELISA assay for the measurement of SARS-CoV-2 spike protein in serum, cell culture supernatant and other biological samples.
This ELISA Kit utilizes ATGC's proprietary Biologically labeled Ultra-sensitive (BioUltra) antibody for the detection without the use of any chemically conjugated secondary antibodies. The assay requires only one wash step and can be completed within 90 minutes. An antibody specific for SARS-CoV-2 spike protein has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells together with the BioUltra detection antibody. Any SARS-CoV-2 spike protein present forms a complex with the detection antibody and immobilizes to the wells by the coated antibody. Following incubation unbound samples are removed by washing. Then a substrate reagent is added and the luminescent signal is measured with a plate reader. A standard curve is prepared from seven standard dilutions and the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein concentration in the sample is determined.
