Recombinant mouse ICOSL Fc-Fusion Protein

Recombinant human ICOSL Fc-Fusion Protein expressed in HEK293 cells.

Highlights:

  • Prolongs of the plasma half-life (t1/2) of the protein of interest in vivo, resulting in improved therapeutic efficacy
  • In vitro applications of Fc-Fusion proteins include immunohistochemistry (IHC), flow cytometry (FC), protein binding assays, and use as microarray baits
  • Fc domain-Fusion can also improve the in vivo and in vitro solubility and stability of some binding partners

ICOS ligand for the T-cell-specific cell surface receptor ICOS. Acts as a costimulatory signal for T-cell proliferation and cytokine secretion; induces also B-cell proliferation and differentiation into plasma cells. Could play an important role in mediating local tissue responses to inflammatory conditions, as well as in modulating the secondary immune response by co-stimulating memory T-cell function. During pregnancy, may function to skew the cytokine of maternal T-cells toward immunoprotective Th2 phenotype.
