Anti-Methylenetetrahydrofolate Reductase (MTFR) Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody was generated against recombinant protein and recognizes human and mouse methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR).

Highlights:

  • Reacts with human and mouse MTHFR
  • Suitable for Western Blot applications

Methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase is an enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of 5,10-methylenetetrahydrofolate to 5-methyltetrahydrofolate, a co-substrate for homocysteine remethylation to methionine. Variations in this protein have been shown to be related to occlusive vascular disease, neural tube defects, Alzeimer's, colon cancer and leukemia.
