Anti-Porcine Rotavirus VP6, Serogroup B [10B1] Antibody

This mouse IgG monoclonal antibody was generated against purified recombinant porcine rotavirus (PoRV) VP6 subclass B and is specific for porcine PoRV VP6 subclass B.

Porcinerotavirus (PoRV) is a non-enveloped icosahedral virus belonging to the genus Rotavirus and family Rotaviridae.  Rotavirus genome has 11 segments which encode 6 non-structure proteins(NSP 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) and 6 structure proteins (VP 1, 2, 3, 4 ,6, 7). Virion has three layers. The outer layer is comprised of VP4 and VP7 which are necessary for virus entry and involved in virus neutralization. The middle layer is VP6 protein,the most abundant and conserve structure protein. Base on the antigenicity and sequence of VP6, rotaviruses are divided into 8 serogroups (A-H). Serogroup A, B, C, E and H have been implicated in swine enteric disease.

Immunofluorescence Microscopy

Immunofluorescence microscopy of Sf9 cells inoculated with are combinant baculovirus expressing VP6 of PoRV B (A)or PoRV C (B) and baculovirus (C, negative control), respectively, after being stained with mAB10B1 and 11F3. Clones were specific positive to their targets.
