This mouse IgG1 monoclonal (CCRC-M7) was generated against Sycamore Rhamnogalacturonan-I and belongs to the Rhamnogalacturonan-I/Arabinogalactan clade of antibodies and binds to a trimer or larger of beta-(1,6)-Gal.

Rhamnogalacturonans (RGs) are a family of related cell wall pectic polysaccharides that contain a repeating backbone of α-D-GalpA-(1,2)-α-L-Rhap-(1), and carry diverse side chains that are attached to the Rha residues and are composed largely of arabinosyl and/or galactosyl residues.

The epitope recognized by CCRC-M7 is present on rhamnogalacturonan I, and on soluble and membrane-bound arabinogalactan glycoproteins.
