The Ferguson laboratory is focused on better understanding the effect of environmental and nutritional compounds on the hypothalamic-pituitary-thyroid (HPT) axis and neurodevelopment. They use a variety of comparative thyroidology and endocrinology, as well as veterinary clinical pharmacology techniques to address these research questions.
