SYBR Green I
SYBR Green I is an asymmetrical cyanine dye suitable for nucleic acid staining in molecular biology. Once bound to DNA, the dye absorbs blue light and emits green light. SYBR Green I offers an alternative to the traditionally used ethidium bromide tag.
