MarathonRT Reverse Transcriptase

MarathonRT purified from Eubacterium rectale is an ultra-processive reverse transcriptase used to catalyze the formation of DNA from RNA.


  • Copies transcripts at least 10 kb in length and displays superior intrinsic RT processivity, compared to SSIV
  • Low error frequency in single-molecule sequencing, comparable to that of other high-performance RTs, such as SSIV
