Bis-sulfone NHS Ester

Bis-sulfone NHS Ester is a unique heterobifunctional building block with amine and sulfhydryl/thiol reactivity that overcomes the drawbacks associated with the use of traditional sulfhydryl labeling chemistry.

Traditional sulfhydryl labeling chemistry cleaves disulfide bridges and leaves them in “open form”, which may compromise the stability and function of an antibody or other proteins. Bis-sulfone reagents re-bridge the disulfide bond, and enhance the structural stability of the protein.
