CB2 Cannabinoid Receptor Expressing HEK293 Cell Lines

Human, mouse or rat cannabinoid receptor type 2 (CB2) expressing HEK293 cells.

CB2 cannabinoid receptors are a component of the endocannabinoid system. While not as widespread as CB1 receptors, CB2 receptors are highly inducible following tissue injury and may represent novel therapeutic targets for a variety of pathological conditions. In healthy organisms, CB2 receptors ere expressed mainly in the immune system and in cell of hematopoietic origin (e.g., microglia).
