Dr. Ksander's research is focused in three areas: 1) Understanding the function of inflammation during the development of glaucoma, 2) Understanding the function of microglia and infiltrating macrophages in the development of age related macular degeneration, and 3) Restoration of the corneal epithelium using limbal stem cells.
