Growth Conditions: High-glucose DMEM (Invitrogen) supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum, penicillin G (100 U/ml) and streptomycin sulfate (100 _g/ml) under a humidified atmosphere of 5% CO2 at 37C. Maintain selection with 100 _g/ml zeocin. Please note that HT-22 cells are resistant to G-418.
Cryopreservation: DMEM growth medium with 10% DMSO
Comments: The HT22-pSV40-BirAV5 cell line was stably transfected with pGL4.23-3xBTE; this cell line reports (via luciferase) activation or repression mediated by the basic transcription element to which KLF9 and other KLF/Sp factors bind.
