Human Hepatocytes have become the "gold standard" for evaluating hepatic metabolism, the toxicity of drugs and other xenobiotics in vitro. Primary Human Hepatocytes maintain their morphology and function over long periods of time. All fresh primary human hepatocytes are isolated from single donors and processed the same day to ensure their best performance. All fresh hepatocytes have post-thaw viabilities over 80%, and each batch is characterized by viability, cell yield, optimal seed density, morphology, attachment efficiency, and monolayer confluence. Fresh human hepatocytes are available in multiple formats, from cells in suspension to various plate formats.
