Muldamine

Muldamine is an alkaloid isolated from the corn lily and is an antagonist of the Sonic Hedgehog gene pathway with potential anticancer properties.

Muldamine is a potent teratogen that is implicated in birth defects in vertebrates. It has similar biological properties to cyclopamine and jervine, as all three act as an antagonist of the Sonic Hedgehog gene pathway.
