Burkitt lymphoma is a rare but highly aggressive (fast-growing) B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). This disease may affect the jaw, central nervous system, bowel, kidneys, ovaries, or other organs. Burkitt lymphoma may spread to the central nervous system (CNS).

Growth Conditions: RPMI 1640 medium (Corning, MT10040CM), 90%; fetal bovine serum (Hyclone, SH30088.03), 10%; L-glutamine, 2mM; Penicllin-streptomycin, 5U/mL and 5g/mL; puromycin (Sigma, P8833), 2 µg/mL
Cryopreservation: RPMI 1640, 40%; Fetal bovine serum, 50%; DMSO, 10%.
Comments: Standard procedure for handling frozen cells as recommended by ATCC should be followed. Seeding density: 2 to 5 x 105 viable cells/mL
