Glutathione S-transferase (GST) tags are often used to increase expression, solubility and to purify recombinant proteins. GST can be fused to either the N-terminus or C-terminus of a protein. This anti-GST single domain antibody (nanobody) is ~13 kDa in size and is more resistant to heat and pH than a conventional antibody. It exhibits the same high affinity as a conventional antibody and can be used for pull-down assays, ELISAs, or other applications with GST-fusion proteins. It is not recommended to be used in Western blots.
