Anti-Caspase 12 [14F7] Antibody

This IgG2a rat monoclonal antibody was generated against the bacterial fusion protein p30 and recognizes mouse caspase 12.

Caspase 12, an enzyme encoded by the CASP12 gene, is a member of the cysteine-aspartic acid protease family. Sequential activation of caspases is critical for cell apoptosis. Once a stimulus is received by the cell, discrete apoptotic pathways are potentiated by subsets of the caspases that can then activate additional intracellular effectors. Caspase 12 is involved in apoptosis induced by ER stress.
