Anti-Xyloglucan [LM15] Antibody

This rat IgG2c monoclonal antibody was generated against neoglycoprotein and recognizes land plants xyloglucan.

Highlights:

Generated using a neoglycoprotein incorporating the xylosylated heptasaccharide from tamarind xyloglucan (XXXG-BSA). It recognizes the XXXG motif of xyloglucan in several species and can accommodate to some extent a single galactosyl residue. Xyloglucan is a hemiceullose or polysaccharide that is found in the primary cell wall of all vascular plants. Xyloglucan binds to the surface of cellulose microfibrils and may link them together.
