Alkynyl Iodoacetamide

The alkynyl iodoacetamide reacts with nucleophiles, such as cysteine in proteins and peptides. The alkyne moiety allows the compound to be reacted with a fluorescent or biotin label via copper-catalyzed click chemistry for visualization and/or enrichment techniques.
