Anti-GRIM-19 [1A8] Antibody

This IgG2a mouse monoclonal (clone 1A8) was generated against recombinant human Gene associated with Retinoid - Interferon-induced Mortality 19 (GRIM-19), and recognizes human and mouse GRIM-19.

Highlights:

  • Recognizes human and mouse GRIM-19
  • Recommended for WB, IP, IHC, IF, and ELISA applications

GRIM-19, otherwise known as designated cell death-regulatory protein GRIM 19 and NADH dehydrogenase ubiquinone 1 alpha subcomplex subunit 13, is known to play a role in programmed cell death (apoptosis) and the electron transport chain. GRIM19 is widely expressed within tissues, including heart, skeletal muscle, liver, kidney and placenta. Mutations in GRIM-19 have been associated with Hurthle cell thyroid carcinoma (HCTC), a rare type of thyroid cancer.
