4H12 was generated by immunizing mice with marmoset IgG that was purified from serum and screened against various primate species.

Highlights:

  • Recommended working concentration for ELISA is between 1:1,000 and 1:1,000,000.
  • 4H12 reacts with IgG of: common marmoset (Callithrix jacchus) and squirrel monkey
  • 4H12 does not react with: rhesus, cynomolgus, pigtailed macaque, sabaeus monkey, vervet, mangabey, chimpanzee, baboon

Comments

Species specificity was determined via ELISA. ELISA plates were coated with primate IgG (purified from serum) and tested for reactivity with 4H12-biotin. 4H12 binding was detected using 1:10,000 streptavidin-HRP.
