Anti-VGLUT2/SLC17A6 (Rabbit) Antibody

This rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody was generated against the C-terminus of vesicular glutamate transporter 2 (VGLUT2) GST-fusion protein and recognizes mouse and rat VGLUT2.

VGLUT2 also known as SLC17A6 is a vesicle-bound, sodium-dependent phosphate transporter that is expressed in the neuron-rich regions of the brain. It facilitates the uptake of glutamate into synaptic vesicles at presynaptic nerve terminals of excitatory neural cells.
