Anti-TIAM1 [4E7b] Antibody

This mouse monoclonal antibody was raised against recombinant T-lymphoma invasion and metastasis-inducing protein 1 (TIAM1) and recognizes human, mouse and rat TIAM1.

Highlights:

  • Reacts with human, mouse and rat TIAM1
  • Suitable for Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation applications

T-lymphoma invasion and metastasis-inducing protein 1 (TIAM1) is a protein coding gene, specifically for RAC-1. RAC-1 is a specific guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF). GEFs mediate the exchange of guanosine diphosphate (GDP) for guanosine triphosphate (GTP). This gene thus regulates RAC1 signaling pathways that affect cell shape, migration, adhesion, growth, survival, and polarity, as well as influencing actin cytoskeletal formation, endocytosis, and membrane trafficking. Diseases associated with TIAM1 include lymphoma and Wolf-Hirschhorn Syndrome.
