Anti-Cereblon (CRBN) [3B12F7] Antibody

This mouse IgG1k monoclonal antibody was generated against synthetic peptide and recognizes all mammals cereblon (CRBN).

Highlights:

  • Reacts with all mammalian CRBNs tested
  • Suitable for Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry applications

Protein cereblon is encoded by the CRBN, other names include AD-006 and MRT2A. It was originally identified as a genetic cause of inherited autosomal recessive mental retardation, the gene encodes a substrate receptor of a ubiquitin E3 cullin 4-RING ligase (CRL4) complex. CRBN also may play a role in memory and learning by regulating the assembly and neuronal surface expression of large-conductance calcium-activated potassium channels in brain regions involved in memory and learning by its interaction with KCNT1. Also has been shown to be involved in pathway protein ubiquitination.
