This rat IgG2a monoclonal antibody was generated against purified recombinant protein and is specific for mouse Toll-like receptor 3 (TLR3) extracellular domain.

Toll-like receptor 3 (TLR3) also known as CD283 (cluster of differentiation 283) is a protein part of the toll receptor family involved in the innate immune system. TLR3 is most abundantly expressed in placenta and pancreas, and is restricted to the dendritic subpopulation of the leukocytes It induces the activation of IRF3 an the production of type 1 interferos.
