Anti-E2F3 [LLF3#2G2] Antibody

This mouse monoclonal antibody was generated against human E2F3 (aa 1-244, 6X His-tagged) and recognizes both isoforms of human and mouse E2F3, E2F3a and E2F3b.

E2F3 is a winged helix transcription factor important for regulating the expression of genes encoding proteins required for cell cycle entry, DNA synthesis and mitosis and is an important target of pRB, a tumor suppressor protein. E2F3 can function in complexes that either repress or activate transcription. Studies using E2f3 mutant mice also show that E2F3 is important for cell cycle regulation, heart development and disease, cell migration and cancer. In addition in some human cancers E2F3 is over-expressed.
