This mouse IgG monoclonal (CCRC-M1) was generated against Rhamnogalacturonan I/MeBSA complex (Non-covalent) and recognizes the alpha-Fuc-(1,2)-beta-Gal glycan group of Fucosylated Xyloglucan.

Xyloglucan is a hemiceullose or polysaccharide that is found in the primary cell wall of all vascular plants. Xyloglucan binds to the surface of cellulose microfibrils and may link them together.

Notes

The epitope recognized by CCRC-M1 is most prevalent in xyloglucans from many dicots, and is present to a small extent in rhamnogalacturonan I from some dicots.

These monoclonal antibodies were developed under the sponsorship of the US National Science Foundation, through award number DBI-0421683.
