Anti-DNA Polymerase Eta [2A10] Antibody

This IgG1 mouse monoclonal (clone 2A10) was generated against the catalytic subunit of human DNA polymerase eta and is specific for human DNA-polymerase Eta (Pol η).

Highlights:

  • Specific for human DNA-polymerase Eta (Pol η)
  • This antibody doesn't interfere with substrate binding (DNA).
  • Recommended for WB, IP, and ELISA applications

DNA polymerase eta (Pol η) is a protein in humans encoded by the POLH gene, and is particularly important for allowing accurate translesion synthesis of DNA damage resulting from ultraviolet (UV) radiation. Mutations in the POLH gene can result in Xeroderma Pigmentosum (XP), an autosomonal recessive genetic disorder where the inherited are extremely sensitive to UV rays from sunlight.
