Tris–Acetate–EDTA (TAE)
Tris-Acetate-EDTA (TAE) is a commonly used electrophoresis buffer, typically for the separation of nucleic acids such as DNA and RNA. TAE is used as a running buffer and a gel constituent for agarose gels. Our TAE is buffered to a pH of 8.3 (at 1x) and is supplied in 50x concentrated or 1x working stock solutions.
MaineSpring™ water undergoes an extensive multi-step treatment process, including ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis, ultraviolet water purification and deionization. The result is the highly purified cell biology and molecular biology-grade water used in all our bio-reagent, buffer and solution products.
Our MaineSpring™ molecular biology products are 0.1 um sterile filtered into the bottle and then are tested thoroughly for the presence of DNases, RNases, and proteases to ensure that you receive a high quality product. We test every lot, to be sure that you’re getting the highest quality product for your research.
