Interleukin 7 (IL-7) antibodies

These mouse IgG2a,K monoclonal antibodies were generated against recombinant chicken Interleukin 7 (IL-7) and recognize chicken IL-7.

Highlights:

  • Reacts with chicken IL-7
  • May be useful for research of viral & pathogen infections, and oncology
  • Suitable for Western Blot and ELISA

Interleukin 7 (IL-7), an important cytokine for B and T cell development, is a hematopoietic growth factor secreted by stromal cells in the bone marrow and thymus. It is also produced by a number of other cells (such as keratinocytes, dendritic cells, hepatocytes, neurons, and epithelial cells), however, it is not produced by normal lymphocytes. Interleukin 7 (IL7) was originally discovered as a pre-B cell growth factor involved in immune and hematopoietic systems and its bioactivity assessed by stimulation of lymphoid progenitor proliferation, then renamed as IL7. Like in mammals, chIL7 induced proliferation of murine B cells and chicken primary lymphocytes isolated from spleen and bursa.
